Sometimes you want to send flowers. Take your pick from the bouquets in our Bouquets portfolio of note cards. Three are by American painter Martin Johnson Heade: Roses and Heliotrope in a Vase on a Marble Tabletop, 1862, and Apple Blossoms in a Vase, 1867, both oil on board from the National Gallery of Art, Washington; Still Life with Roses, Lilies, and Forget-Me-Nots in a Glass Vase, 1869; an oil on canvas also from the National Gallery. The other three cards reproduce the German painter Adelheid Dietrich's Still Life of Flowers, an 1868 oil on wood, a promised gift to the National Gallery. Plus 12 envelopes. The cards measure 4 3/8 x 5 3/4 inches. |
